Careers

If you've worked a Friday night, you'll get it.

We're small. We're hiring carefully. If you've operated a restaurant — or built tools for people who do — we want to hear from you.

Four kinds of people

The people who fit here.

Most of the team has either run a restaurant or built something operators actually used. That's the pattern. Four shapes we keep coming back to:

Ex-operator engineers

You shipped something — a POS module, a kitchen tool, a stock script — while you were running or working a restaurant. You know what a 7pm Friday feels like.

Product people who've shipped to operators

You've designed for people on their feet, in noise, with thin margins. You can sit with a chef for an afternoon and come back with the right two sentences.

Support people who can talk shop

You can walk into a kitchen, find the printer, fix the cable, and explain a marketplace settlement to the owner — in their language. Operator-fluent.

Sales who hate sales

You don't pitch. You ask three questions and listen. You'd rather lose a deal than oversell it. You think of yourself as the operator's advocate inside the company.
The honest version

What it's like to work here.

Founder-led. Fast. Small. Real product impact — what you ship next month is in a real kitchen the month after. Lots of hats: you'll do work outside your title most weeks, and we don't pretend otherwise.

Distributed team

Istanbul, Amsterdam, and wherever the right person is.

Bilingual working language

English in writing. Turkish, Dutch, English in the kitchens.

Direct feedback

We argue about the product. We don't argue about politics.

Murat reads everything

You'll know where you stand.
The anti-listicle

What we don't do.

We won't sell you on a culture deck. So here's what isn't here:

No perks marketing

No nap pods, no foosball, no kombucha tap. If we get those one day, we won't put them on this page.

No buzzword values

We don't have a "Our Mission" page. The mission is in the product.

No 'we change the world' framing

We make restaurant operators' Friday nights less broken. That's the job.

No layers

There is no manager between you and Murat.
TR talent

Turkish applicants — write to us.

Turkey has some of the best hospitality and operator-tech talent in the region. A lot of dojofood was built in Istanbul. If you're in Türkiye and one of the archetypes above sounds like you, write to us in Turkish or English. We'll reply in whichever you wrote in.

Hiring status

We're not actively hiring right now.

No open roles posted today. We open roles when we have a clear gap and the budget to do it properly — not because the headcount slide says so. If you're an exceptional fit for one of the archetypes above, write to us anyway. We keep a short list, and we go back to it first when a role opens.

Tell us in three paragraphs — what you've built or operated, why this fits, and what you'd want to work on first. Write to careers@dojofood.com.
